SARAN™ 520 CX Vapor Retarder Tape is composed of durable, flexible polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coated with an acrylic adhesive designed for effective and long-lasting adhesion to a variety of substrates. In low vapor drive applications, SARAN 520 CX Tape conforms easily to fittings, elbows and joints, creating a tight, water-resistant seal and protecting these vulnerable areas from moisture intrusion and energy loss. A permeance rating of 0.03 perms meets standard industry requirements for vapor retarders in cold service.
